Angie Sher is a Sydney based makeup artist and hair stylist. Angie, originally from Johannesburg South Africa, studied Beauty Therapy at the Sydney TAFE institute. This was followed by her outstanding achievement of being awarded "most creative student". when receiving her makeup certification from Cameron Jane Makeup Design - Australia's elite makeup academy. She is a focussed artist and creative, devoting herself to her work in Beauty, Fashion and Events. 

Early in her career, Angie built connections with some of New York City's most impressive artists via social media and travelled to New York, to fully immerse herself in the world of fashion and print. She spent three months in New York assisting top tier artists such as 'Sigma Beauty' ambassador and ELLE Beauty Editor, Griselle Rosario. Angie has also worked alongside and assisted many highly respected artists in Sydney, such as Max May, Pablo Morgade, Claire Thompson, Katie Angus, Petr Vackarr, Filomena Natoli, Yolanda Bakowski, Georgia Hull, Katrina Raftery, Joel Babicci, Michelle Cox, Budi Juspandi and X Factors makeup director Martin Brae, on many an occasion.

Her skills as a hairstylist are solidifying as a result of ongoing direction from some of Sydney’s most sought after stylists. Angie has been working at M.A.C since may 2017, in addition to her own private clients, which include; Carla Zampatti and Yousef Akbar (the genius behind Chrissy Teigen’s high slit dress).

Some of Angie’s work has been featured in publications both in Australia and abroad, such as, Vogue Italia, Vulkan magazine, Institute mag, Cake mag, Fashion Gone Rogue, Ellements magazine, IMIRAGE, The Daily Telegraph, See Need Want, DOLLY, Her Fashion Magazine, The Morning Show and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Sydney 2019.

For bridal or group bookings, Angie would be glad to hear from you too! She has a wealth of experience with getting it “just right” for your special day. From your skin being smooth and glowing like a fresh water pearl…to pinning your veil in perfectly, she has got it covered! Travel is absolutely an option and there is no minimum or maximum for group bookings as Angie has a strong team of second artists to help out on the day.
